Inn on La Loma Plaza

We have made this our place to stay every time when we are in Taos. The staff is awesome and very accommodating. The breakfasts are great. We choose the Anasazi suite for our family and it is super spacious.

We loved this place! The property is very cute, it sits on a historic plaza. Peggy was fabulous, she was knowledgeable about the area and the history, and she makes a fantastic breakfast with many options. (Don't skip the banana nut bread or the lemon bread!) Our family booked two rooms, they were both great. Each decorated in a unique way, the sheets are VERY soft. We also received a lot of detailed information before the visit from the property and I was very prepared. (The price was also reasonable.) I also took Peggy's recommendations on restaurants (some require reservations so check beforehand) and never had a bad meal while we were there. The location was perfect for us. The Inn is easily walkable to the downtown area (10 min walk) and many restaurants, and 25 min drive to the Ski Valley. We can't wait to return!

Delightful inn to stay while visiting Taos. Close to the main square yet away from the noise. Excellent communication with the hotel. Made to order breakfasts were amazing and staff was friendly and helpful. Even though we didn't take our dogs, we enjoyed meeting some of the traveling pets.

We had a lovely stay at the Inn. Our room was so lovely; we had a cute little balcony, gorgeous shower and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. Peggy is a wonderful host, Friendly and helpful but not overbearing. I would stay there again for sure.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on Loma Plaza for two days and we have no negative comments. The room we stayed in was small but very warm and cozy. The owner, Peggy is very friendly and helpful and her dog, Winston was also friendly. Peggy was so gracious and she made a delicious and satisfying breakfast each morning. There were also a wide variety of movies on both DVD and VHS format as well as books that guests could borrow for the duration of their stay. So many pluses to mention but we highly recommend this location to anyone planning a trip to Taos. I can safely say that you will not be disappointed. Thank you Peggy (and Winston) for making our stay a memorable one and we hope to return one day.

The location is great and the room was very nice. We stayed in the Anasazi Suite. Comfortable bed. Breakfast burrito was excellent as was the 3 sisters side (corn, pinto beans and Squash). Peggy is a great Host. him checked us in and showed us to our room. Winston is such a nice dog. Really enjoyed having him around. Thank you Peggy.

Everything was wonderful here - Peggy and her staff were over the top friendly and helpful, giving super recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful and in a great location close to the plaza. The room was clean and provided more than enough for our needs.

Pleased to stay at the Inn of La Loma Plaza in Taos, NM. The rooms was small but adequate. We were underwhelmed by the greeting at check-in on Wednesday, the 15th of October. The desk clerk did not even greet us or say hello and his first response was to ask us for an ID and credit card. His check in time was excessive to say to least for having sent this information ahead to reserve a room. The room was on the second floor (tough with luggage) and tiny but this was made clear. There was little room for clothing and next morning the coffee machine in the room had no coffee units for the coffee machine in the room. Disappointing. For breakfast after submitting our order and desired dining time the night before, we were told that it was oversold and that we might need to wait. Once we arrived for breakfast the next morning, there was 'plenty' of room and the food was good. Overall nice only, not exceptional, and think it was pricey for the money.
